Before the guests’ arrive, the members of the host clean the house;arrange the main seats for the coming guests. See the guests off with smile and enthusiast;bow each other for expressing respect and appreciation Prepare the clean bowls and pour tea or wine full with your clean hands. Before the drink,everybody has to pour out little tea which the host offered to you with your fingers for three times meaning of worshiping the gods, respecting parents and friends,otherwise it would an impolite behavior. When you give presents to eachother,you have to lift the gifts high and wait for until it is accepted. Tibetans consider fart is kind of disgusting and nauseating thing so you can not fart and go through in front of the guests. You can not spread your legs in front of the guests,otherwise it is thought as impolite and looking down others. Listen to others carefully during the process of a conversation, and reply instinctively and politely,also you can not speak of any unpleasant things. You can not clean the house instantly after the guestsleave; It is considered as impolite and unlucky. You can not play whistle in the house because the Tibetans believe itwould greet ghosts. For offering a silent environment to the dead person, people usually don't mention their names directly; they shall add some scripture words. You can not disturb others who are cooking;otherwise the stove God will be angry. About the taboos on holy mountains. On the holy mountains, It is forbidden to do the thingsas below: Throwing rubbish,digging the ground,cutting plants,hunting animals,make noises, and take things from the mountain to your homeetc. The taboosin front of holy lakes. In front of the holy lake,people are ban to do the things as below: Throwing rubbish,fishing in the lake,taking shower and washing things etc. The taboos about the land Nomadic area: In order to protect the grassland and ecosystem,pee is forbidden and diggingthe grassland as one’s please. Nomads can not live at one placethey have to move to other placesaccording to the seasons. Farm area: You can not dig ground as one's please, and walk at outside with naked body, also you cannot burn any bone and rags etc.
